Looking for advice
Hello, all:
There are a couple things I'm immediately thinking of wanting to pick-up hopefully sometime in September, and am looking for advice.
I saw this setup on yourprops.com
http://www.yourprops.com/Anduril--Sw...rop-31501.html
and thought it might be one of yours. Where can I get one of the nice, aged looking maps of ME like that? I know a guy who does very nice replicas of Thror's map, but don't know where to get a good quality map like the one in the photo. Does anyone know what those 3 smaller maps are?
Also, I really love Theoden's sword, Herugrim. Where would you recommend buying it? Plus, is there somewhere to get the sheath? There's something about him pulling the sword out in TT that sends a shiver down my spine.
Cheers,
Guy

Re: Looking for advice
There isn't a sheath for Theoden's sword just yet but hopefully we may get one. As for where to get it I would wait and see what the others see because they will be able to point you in the right direction.

Here's one place I buy from
http://www.bladecenter.com/UC1370-herugrim-sword.aspx
BudK is another but usually a few bucks more or less.

Re: Looking for advice
Aye, Bladecenter and BudK are good sites to buy from. Derek Smith, our forum sponsorer would sell you one as well if you contacted him.
As for the maps, I really dont know where to get them, but I can tell you that of the three small ones, the one on the left is Thor's Map, and the one on the far right is the Rohan/Gondor/Mordor map found in LotR (I think). The one in the middle has me puzzled. It's certainly not Beleriand, and I don't think it's the Shire, although I could be wrong. I think it may just be the other parts of Gondor and Rohan not shown in the one on the right.
EDIT: I'm positive the map on the far right is the map of Gondor, Rohan and Mordor found in most copies of the books. The one in the middle has me completely stumped. I can't even discern a coastline if there is one. Anyone got any ideas?

Re: Looking for advice
It's a map of the Shire. The dark mass on the right edge of the map is the Old Forest, and the one roughly in the centre is Green Hill Country and Woody End, and the small dark spot at the top is Bindbole Wood, north of Hobbiton.

Re: Looking for advice
Aha! I thought I could make out the great road going through the middle, but I couldn't really make out the rest of it. It was the Hedge along the Old Forest that was messing me up.

Damn. Valkrist beat me to it.
I thought, "HA! I've finally scored one on Fingolfin! I KNOW what that middle map is."
Damn, damn, damn, damn....
