Most of you probably saw my thread about my defective Anduril UE. The retailer won't talk to me so I went to UC. UC just e-mailed me and told me that they would take my sword and replace it. Thats great news, but what really amazes me is that they are actually going to pay shipping for me as well! I'm going to send it back sometime this week or next, whenever I can. I really am impressed with UC's great care for my situation, they're awsome!

Great news. It is the little things that make a company great. Customer service is one of them.

Good stuff, let me just remind people, you should ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS try to go through your retailer before trying to contact UC.

I feel very happy for you. I hope that this one will be good. Stuff like this just makes me love UC.:D I always like to hear a happy ending for my UCForums homies.

Hey Anduril, I look forward to welcoming you into the extremely elite club of those who have actually gotten a product directly from UC  Granted that, as Justin said, you should always try to go through the retailer first. But I basically had the same thing happen to me and my Narsil. I gotta warn you though, with the backorders on those swords, you might not get the replacement for a few months. I sent Narsil back in January and didn't get the replacement until April or May. It's totally worth it, but just don't expect the quick turnaround.

My retailer is ignoring me, after about 5 e-mails without reply, I decided to go to UC.

I'm glad you found a way to get it replaced =)

Way to beat the system. I did a lot of research in my Retailer before I went ahead and bought anything. I guess it did help actually going there and feel the items that I was purchasing. It didn't take much and I knew that this place would be great.(thanks BBB)
I'm glad that things worked out. You nor I will ever be dissapointed by UC. #1 till the end!

Its good to hear you got satisfaction on your sword. The moral of the story: be careful where you buy stuff, in this age of the internet. All the horror stories of people who buy off Fleabay or Isellswordsfrommygarage.com, just goes to show how important the retailer is. Buying online is a big risk, so the cheap, cheap prices of some places are no bargin if they bait and switch or sell you defective stuff. Its nice to know UC wants their customers to be happy.
